To have a photo taken with Grandpa and my birthday cake.
It's been decades since Grandpa last celebrated my birthday with me. The last time was probably when I was 6 years old. It's a simple wish and not easily fulfilled as Grandpa is awfully camera-shy. So imagine my joy when Grandpa and Granny took a photo with me!
The simplest joy, is hard to describe!
Since Grandpa had to undergo chemotherapy on my birthday itself, Shawn spent the day with us at the clinic, before bringing me out for a simple dinner at our usual place:

According to him, this is not the only dinner celebration we are having as he has another surprise prepared for dinner the next day.
But after dinner, we spent the rest of the day with the boy from Bluesky... who lovingly prepared a card for me.
It's nice to have friends who appreciate my friendship.
What's more, they have planned a birthday celebration for me on Saturday!
