It's interesting how we maintain our friendship through the years even though we seldom meet. Perhaps we ain't as superficial as a friend said we are, because no matter what, we know we can rely on anyone of us.

Eve's Birthday celebration
Other than the Annual October Babies celebration, the girls would meet up separately for our own dinner while we celebrate Eve's birthday.

Girls night out
It's been quite a while since the girls met up as a group.
Since we usually gather when there's a birthday among us, August was the month for Sherrel (or "Kexin" as I know her of) birthday.
Though I feel the divide in the group with each of us going in a different direction in life, I appreciate the effort we all make to keep this friendship going.
Best part of all, I'm glad my gift for Sherrel got the reaction I was hoping for: SHOCKED.
Sometimes remembering the little things your friend said is the best effort for a gift.
I, in turn, had learn this from a dear friend who surprised me once.

Hi-Tea @ TWG
It is a girls' day out to celebrate a dear friend's recent engagement.
No words can describe how happy I feel to know that she had finally found someone to settle down with, especially after all that she had been through. Hence, the best celebration is to do something out of our norm!
There's a Hi-Tea craze going around if you haven't realised: Everyone wants to sit around and sip tea!
Not that I'm complaining since I'm a huge fan for tea. But I am quite upset that famous Hi-Tea set at Woo Bar Sentosa is fully booked for this long holiday weekend.
Thankfully, there's always other places to satisfy that hi-tea craving.
TWG (ION Orchard)
Apart from the hi-tea set, there are other ala carte items that were rather reasonably priced for such an upmarket cafe.
Since the set menu didn't appeal to us, we each order something from the ala carte menu. Spending approximately S$43 each, it was a very filling brunch complete with tea, pastries and even a main course.
I will be going back there again soon for more pastries!
Continued the afternoon with some shopping, and look what I bought:
I guess that girls at different point of their lives shop for different things:
Singles spend on pricey bags, Brides spend on little knick knacks for their wedding, Mothers spend on items for their kids.
But at the end of the day, it is still SHOPPING!
