Havaianas Trade-Up Tuesday

Shawn and I had been waiting all February when we found out about this special deal in March 2013:





We are huge fans of slippers; we wear ANYTHING with slippers and go ANYWHERE in slippers!

Even my family wears slippers!


With all that photos... I guess you won't be surprise that we are both proud owners of 3 pairs of Havaianas each.


Wearing our only decent pair left, we went to "trade-up" 2 of the worn out pairs:
Total 4 pairs of old slippers.




The queue at the Takashimaya outlet was rather long, snaking all the way to the entrance.



But , the wait was worth it when we emerged with 2 new pairs each with a total bill of S$80. That's about S$20 for each Havaianas that is going to last us for at least another 2 years!



It's hard not to love Havaianas when it is more durable than the slippers of other surf-brands.

Stingy us decided not to use the silica gel in the camera box.

So guess what I found at Daiso!

The moisture dropped from 60+% to 30% in just 10minutes!

Super cheap and effective!
