Naise OOTD Photoshoot

These days I've taken a different approach to the blogshop. Thanks to Torid for some insights in the Fashion industry, the blogshop now portrays a different feel.

Previously, there were only 1 type of photos: Product shots.
That is photos of the product, clear for everyone to see.

Ever since I realised the difference between such photos and "Campaign shots", I've been trying to incorporate the 2 different type of photos into my blogshop. It is not really about the studio or outdoor photos, but it is really the usage of the photos.


Anyway, since I already have all my "Product shots" of the tees, I've been engaging different faces to do photos for the "Campaign shots". And today I had the privilege to work with LUKE LEE from Ah Boys To Men .

Luke acted as Sergeant Jed Heng in ABTM and he's a host for various other events and have cameo in documentary from BBC channel etc.

I was pleasantly surprised when he approached Naise Clothes for a collaboration. And when I met him in person I was even more surprised that this movie star is a future lawyer, and he is super friendly!

It was easy to start the photoshoot since he was a warm person by nature. And we started hanging out like old friends in no time. Here's a photo of me goofing around to help the photographer get the angle.





Then it was the professional's turn.




I love how the photos turn out to be. Not only was Luke good in photographs, but it was also because I have an awesome photographer!

The wall actually looked quite "cui" and I bet the wall didn't even caught your attention. Even a simple resting moment we had at Scape Management Office also became a photo opportunity!




I really feel that I've been blessed to have such great help and such opportunity for a collaboration.

It's not everyday that I get to work with people who are destined for greatness. But I'm glad to have them cross my path once in awhile.

Simplicity is the trick

These days, I've taken cam-whoring up a notch.

Don't you just love the photos I've been posting taken against a blank background?

Makes capturing my OOTD so much more fun these days.


Even in color, the photo doesn't look very amateur without any photo-editing.





And I bet you won't believe if I told you this was how I do it:



Armed with the Fluorescent Ring Light, and my trustworthy Sony Nex 5N, I've been shooting awesome looking photos against a blank wall at home.

Don't be fooled by the little space I used. With some photo editing, miracles can happen!

Now who says awesome photos require super-pro cameras and studio-like facilities? This is how you DIY with style!

I love tees

Even before I started Naise Clothes and changed the blogshop's direction into making T-shirts a statement, I already love wearing tees.

These days, I wear tees every time I could!




Because I love how something so simple and comfortable can look good in any possible occasion.

New Arrival: Naise Tees

Spent the afternoon packing the HUGE box of tees that arrived at my doorstep a week ago.


New designs that I specially got the supplier to customise.



However, all these will only start to hit the (virtual) shelves in June 2013 after the photoshoot.


Can't wait to see how well these batch of tees will be received by everyone.

It's been a hectic day rushing from clinics to clinic.

The only thing that makes me happy is being comfortable in a Naise Tee:

Collection Aholic - Work Style

After launching the reversible tops for 1+ week, I suddenly realised that all the photos seemed to suggest that top is only good for PLAY.

Notice how in each photo, the top is always paired with shorts?



I have totally overlooked trying to let the Office Ladies see that the top is good for WORK too!

Hence, I thought I'd do some photos, matching the top with the basic office wear of black or white skirt.



And I realise that I look so awkward in front of the camera.

Naise Tees has bigger sizes now!!!

Didn't have to attend to Granny's needs today.
Which gives me ample time to flood NaiseClothes FB page with the new XL size I got the supplier to customise.

This is really exciting as it makes me feel that I could reach out to a wider group of consumers.




Now, who said Naise Clothes are only meant for slim people.

PS: Don't mind the size "S, M, L or XL". It is just letters.
As long as it fits, it looks naise!

4 months into setting up NaiseClothes, I couldn't be more happy when I saw that we have hit 400+ LIKES on our Facebook page.



To other established blogshops, 400+ LIKES is nothing compared to the Thousands that they have. But to me, I'm contented to take baby steps to get anywhere near them.

Well, hopefully we'd hit 500+ LIKES soon, as I've thought of an exciting promotion to have once we get there!

Had been busy with the photoshoot for NaiseClothes today.

Gave up trying to DIY modelling because I am awkward in front of the camera. Maybe next time when I have more confidence to pose.

Anyway, found Katty who is really sweet and suits the measurement to represent NaiseClothes. And I'm glad to hire her! She is so natural in front of the camera, it made editing super easy. Not to forget Joe from Flow Photography who took the photos today. He gives valuable advices to noob likes me.

Decided to share our joy of us turning 2 with a crazy sale at NaiseClothes. 

Back from Bangkok with some exciting new plans for NaiseClothes!
