Bangkok - November 2012 (Day 1)

It's our 3rd time in Bangkok this year.

And the new Photobucket app on the iPhone is making it so easy for me to upload photos that I can't help wanting to blog about this trip.

Setting off to Bangkok right after Esther's mega wedding isn't exactly the best time. With only 6 hours of sleep since Friday, I set off early Sunday morning with hubb and Jun (his cousin) just so that we could shop at CHATUCHAK MARKET for the day.

As much as I was being overly grouchy from the lack of sleep, nothing was going to stop me from having both my favorite dishes at our favourite stall:

Phad Thai

 Soy-sauce noodles with Chicken

It is interesting how with each visit, the stall we frequent gets more and more packed.

With our stomach filled, we roamed Chatuchak in search of interesting sights.

Apart from stalls with very life-like fruits, and flowers

I love how Chatuchak allow the Thais to display their art for people to appreciate or buy.

From life-like sculptures,

to interesting abstract art

And beautifully hand-painted canvas shoes
