Bangkok - November 2012 (Day 2)

Day 2: Monday, was spent entirely combing through PLATINUM MALL for wholesale priced bargains.

Our favourite pit-stop while shopping, for that drink from paradise, available only at Black Canyon Coffee:

Hot Choco

I love how sweet the drink is that with each sip, you wonder if you'd get diabetics.

We ended the day at SIAM PARAGON

with dinner at Nineth Cafe, where I had my unusual tonnes of greens,

Spinach Fettuccine With Smoked Chicken Cream Sauce - 230 baht

compliment with some delicious Baked Alaska Scallops With Cheese And Spinach - 220 baht

We also loved the authentic Thai dish, Fried Crispy Rice With Special Pork Paste - 95 baht

And our favourite hangout at Siam Paragon is the Gourmet Market (i.e. supermarket).

It's interesting to check out the local supermarket to discover that

They sell Buddhist prayer items!

And that they have a whole range of CP products from rice to spaghetti... as compared to the wontons that we have in Singapore!
