About Time

It's been some time since we did a date. Tonight was somewhat impromptu since he had ended his morning shift early and I was back in my own home, he turned over to pick me. We were unusually dressy tonight too: He was in his Fred Parry polo, while I was in a denim dress.

We love our slippers

Yet we wore slippers, just like how we always go conquer the world in slippers.

We cam-whored as we queued for dinner.

In the queue to Aston's

Something we haven't done in a long time.

We cam-whored as we sat and waited to go into the theaters.

At the couch outside the cinema of Cathay

Something we haven't done in a long time too.

And we finally caught the show that a lot of friends have recommended:

I love the show. Especially since I feel that I could relate to the show.

Sometimes I wish that I could travel back in time to undo the mean things I've said and done to my loved ones. To go back in time to do what I truly desire instead of living a life that was expected of me as the first child. Since time travel is something that only happens in the movie, I'm thankful to be given a second chance before it's too late.

And the concept of appreciating life is something that I spent the past year doing. Appreciating the afternoon tea with my parents. Enjoying the company of my husband. Spending the day watching my grandparents live their life.

Because life is how you spend your time. Appreciating the simplest pleasures. Making the most of it with the ones you love.
