Old Tiong Baru Bak Kut Teh

I've always loved the dark-colored soup type of herbal Bak Kut Teh.

When granny wanted to have the clear peppery soup type of Bak Kut Teh at the market this morning, I was hesitant to have a dish that I knew that I disliked.


But the clear peppery garlic soup at the OLD TIONG BARU BAK KUT TEH surprisingly changed my tastebud that morning.




And what I loved most was that the  stall serves the freshest pig-organs (i.e. kidney, liver etc).

I admit that while others eat bak kut teh, I usually eat the organs as it is through these "spare parts" that determines if the stall uses ingredients that are fresh.


Now all I can say is that I AM CONVERTED.


OLD TIONG BARU BAK KUT TEH is my new love!
