Cake Spade

New bakery Cake Spade at the Orchid Hotel in Tanjong Pagar, is the proud achievement of owner-baker Zenn Eng, who also happen to be my cousin.



I remember every Chinese New Year at her place, the table will be filled with pastries that she made with the help of her mum and sisters. Years ago, I even recall her dad telling my dad that Zenn loves to bake and even own an online bakery shop. Today, she has an outlet of her own!


To show my support after so many years of not patronising her online store, I decided to head over to her physical store and grab the opportunity to get Dad's birthday cake from her.



The Peach Toufu Cheesecake is really smooth and the jelly on the top adds a local touch to the cake. I didn't try the cupcakes though.

Whatever the case, I will be heading back soon for the brownie and the famous Red Velvet Cake soon!
