I used to avoid disclosing too much information of myself online ever since I started working in a professional firm 5 years ago. Not just that time wasn't on my side, but it was more of the way of staying professional. I do not mention any of the following in my blog; my employer's name, my audit client's name or even the audit team members that I worked with.
Now that I'm no longer working in such a firm, I feel more open to sharing online. To share with friends who do not have the time to meet up, wtih friends who are curious about my well-being, with strangers who find my blog post randomly interesting.
Next step, to add more information of me on FB. For those who already have me as friends, you'd probably notice that my profile page only shows my blog address and my family members. That shall change... soon.
