Shall do a random update about the last 2 weekends...
7-8 November
After a good sleep to make up for the hellish week, we treated ourselves to a nice show in 3D
It really isn't meant for kids. Overheard a child telling her mum how she was so freaked out that she cried.
On the contrary, I thought it was an awfully goth cute show.
Anyway, the night at Zirca after that was pretty disappointing. Not enough booze, music sucks and Rerbel was too pack. The only good thing was the afterthat supper at a random store at Clarke Quay. Abit ex, but it's not everyday that we spend this kind of money.
We managed to satisfy my craving for Macau Cafe on Sunday...
The instant noodles is a must-have whenever we're there.
Even the Si Mud HK tea.
Xin Wang HK cafe is nothing compared to them. That's why we don't mind travelling all the way to East Coast Road from the west.
On a side note, on the way there, we passed by some tanks along Jalan Boon Lay. I couldn't help but recall my stint as an "Engineer" few Fridays ago. It was fun, but not that fun for someone who has a problem with heights. In case you didn't know, the tank looks something like this:
Imagine climbing that with stairs that are like thin metal grilles.
NOT FUN!
I almost cried as I trembled in fear. But in the name of work and the once-in-the-lifetime opportunity, I went ahead. It was an experience indeed.
So I spent the whole day sleeping in, and when I'm awake, I blog and you-tube my time away.
Just to share what I found on the tube...
Some really old school stuff.
Play it at you own risk. It's pretty addictive. After I heard it, the song just kept replaying in my head.
Okay, time to end it with an open invitation:
Anyone interested? Let's go together!
I'll be there!
