I remember how on my birthday this year, I was given a very nice diamond necklace by hubb, accompanied by a dinner treat at Shang. With all the well-wishes streaming in on FB, I had an enjoyable time with the love, yet something bugged me at the back of my mind all day.

It wasn't till the end of the day when I checked my email that I felt better. "She emailed me!" I recall telling hubb excitedly. Well, just an email, but better than nothing.


What I didn't expect then, was 4 months later, I got the gift I was secretly hoping for.
