I'm an "old-school church girl".

What sparked me to write a post like that?
His church's friend's solemnisation over the weekend.

I grew up thinking that I would embrace Christ one day in my teens.

But as I walk on in life, looking at how certain believers try to convert non-believers, I think twice about going to church.

The trip to his church kept me from further wanting to step in there again, as I felt stress on his behalf to be avoiding the topic on his absence. I also felt overwhelmed to be surrounded by gadgets that seem to stand out from my definition of a church.

That's why I started with the above sentence.

Growing up watching English shows where church was like this

Where praise and worship sessions were like this:

And visiting church like this as a little girl:

Church to me, is unlike those in the news these days.

Hence, till this day, I've kept myself away.
However, I do not deny my belief in Him.
And I believe that the day when He touches my life, that would be when our relationship truly begins.
